Others/Everyone: Ha ha ha, LOL. Another one bites the dust. Ha ha ( loud raucous laughter, with snide jokes)
Woman: I'm getting married. There goes my no-accountability life, got to start thinking responsibly.
Others/Everyone(with an indulgent/ supposed to be 'wise' smile): This is a new phase in your life, look at it positively. (another smile, and then mebbe holding hands or stroking hair) There is a particular time for everything, and this is the time for your marriage. Look at it positively. You are marrying someone you like. I am sure you will have fun with him too.

You know what, remember you wrote a lot of your memories in one of your previous blogs.......you get to enter your significant other's world and get to know his mega-list of memories....childhood, college and professional......the two of you get to make new memories....some sweet some probably sour......
You guys get to shed the "Me", "I", "My" and "Mine" s and get to think in terms of "We" , "Us" and "Ours". i guess thats probably the biggest adjustment as far as marriage is concerned. And i guess thats where the fun really begins in a way....
And speaking of fun......your blogs reflect that you are an endless bundle of energy and enthusiasm. If your husband is like that, good for you...otherwise....i'm sure the tide of your infectious energy will sweep him too :)

But the attitude that a man makes a mistake by marrying, while a woman does the right thing, seems contradictory, doesn't it? Isn't it the same for a man and a woman?
